they won't have been cheap unless you've been gifted them.

£335 for both days. It is what it is!

Managed to find cheap accomodation near one of the park and rides. Price including 2 nights accomodation, park and ride and euro tunnel is £520.

Oi! Adam Scott!!

Better?

That’s about 30 balls. If it’s not good enough for you, I quit!

Nice! A Ryder cup is definitely on my bucket list.

Maybe the Masters one day.

I think he's joking mate, any score in the 80's is good going especially at this time of year. If you genuinely only started last summer that's some going, I'd be inclined to challenge Mikal to a round in a few months time, especially as he's getting so wound up over Woods on the telly (though I tend to agree with him).

Awesome score for someone only 9 months in to the game

On the topic of club fitting, it can be a bit hit and miss if you're not consistent with your swing/ball striking

I got fitted last summer for a driver and went with the Callaway Epic but I doubt I caught one out of the middle the whole time I was there, just swinging it awful. The club performed the best though out of the one's I tried. At the speed I was swinging I should probably have been XS but I just couldn't make that shaft work with how I was swinging that day

Now I've been having a few lessons, sorted my swing out and picked up another couple of mph, that stiff shaft flexes loads on the slow mo video. The chap I'm having lessons with says he would never have fitted me or anyone with 115mph swing speed with a stiff shaft especially with my swing tempo being very fast

115 should never sit into a stiff. Even if you where down at 105 with an aggressive tempo you'd be better fit into a XS.
I only swing at 108 average and have a XS Rogue Silver. (build speed late in swing)
If your not adverse to a bit of club building yourself why not see what you can find on Ebay and build another shaft up.

What do you mean by build the shaft up? Grip and adapter?

What is involved in removing an adapter from the shaft?

I find adapters don't come off shafts without damaging paint, So I personally don't bother pulling a shaft from an adaptor unless its going into another brand adaptor.
Buy a new one from Ebay. Might cost you £10-15 for one.

Heat up the hosel with a heat gun or blow torch. The shaft will pull out. It’s easy to damage the plastic adapter though, so like James said, you’re better off buying a new adapter to put on the new shaft.

I’ve also had graphite shafts split on me as I’ve removed them through inadvertently twisting slightly as i pull them, so
If you plan on selling the old one it’s probably better to leave the adapter on.

There is a Rogue Max 75g XS shaft on eBay for 60 quid. Tempted to go for that and see what numbers i get with it.

Unsure what effect the extra 10g will have as my current shaft is the Rogue Max 65g stiff

Just keep an eye on what the tip size is. Drivers tend to be 0.335. Just make sure you buy an adapter with the same sizing.
The heavier shaft “should” slow you down. It’s also tends to make the shaft feel stiffer. Everyone reacts to weight in shafts differently.
I personally experimented with a heavier shaft in stiff flex, but just didn’t like the feel. So jumped to a 60g XS 3 wood shaft in my driver. Swear by it, haven’t played a full length shaft in my driver for going on 3 years now.
