No good if half are over the IPL though while the rest are playing county with guys who probably resent them based on contracts and the fact they seem to be able to walzt in and out the team when they want.

Pretty much sums us up at the moment, I knew we'd fold up like a cheap deckchair this morning. Broad can never be counted on with the bat in a fight, too many scars.
Another missed opportunity for Andersen to get his first test century... how many more chances does he need !
Buttler played a good innings, but doing it in the last session of a day with an old ball, versus first up in the morning fresh bowlers and a new ball - he didn't look quite so clever.

Root's not ready to be captain. His decision making is poor (experience maybe). The selectors also need to be more adventurous - tried and tested only at being beat is not a good avenue.

Exactly this, has hardly had a decent score since being made captain either.
