I think the decisions were not that important.
Tell that to GGG who was robbed of his belts and unbeaten record.

I posted the rumours about this a while ago. Eubank Degale is supposed to be the first fight.

Matchroom are getting hit both sides of the pond, with Dazn signing up a second promoter in Golden boy and now Al entering the UK market.

Al Harmon has a reputation for looking for after his fighters so UK promoters need to beware, profit margins will tighten. Matchroom fighters such as Khan have already worked with Al.

Free to air fights of a decent quality on ITV1 would be amazing for boxing in the UK.
It's what we need - the assumption among a lot of the "casual" fans is PPV = good. Bellew Cleverly was the start. More free to air is needed to show that actually, there are some seriously quality boxers fighting outside of Sky Sports you can see on the telly for nothing.

Apparently Eubank Sr is training to be a police officer in Louisiana...

sounds to me like roach doesn't fully "get" what fury is about....he's never going to be the guy that plants his feet and lets his hands go..it's not in his makeup...his way of winning is to create the spaces, feint a lot to make them hesitant and draw a fluffy shot then counter the mistake from the space he has created on the back foot...take that away from him and his big reach and mobility advantages are nullified somewhat

He really is going to die.

His particular brand of condescension will not go down well with the southern good 'ole boys who are less than racially enlightened. Then throw his accent into the mix and he becomes even more worthy of target practice.

The whole thing seems very weird and somewhat walt-ish.

The scorecards were such a joke anyways so what difference would that have made? Still annoying me.

Fielding vs Canelo this weekend, that's one way traffic for Canelo right? I can't see Fielding coming through this test at all.
Just watched the fight on youtube. What a complete mismatch (as expected). Even with the Sky commentary trying their best to make the fight sound competitive, it wasn't a good fight to watch.

Watched the fight live, someone at work came through with a stream. What rubbish was that? I know there’s levels to boxing but Fielding looked like a scared and lost mouse, he didn’t have a clue.

Seriously, what was the point of this fight? He just gave his belt away. Did make me laugh Sky and Froch banging on about bravery. He lost the fight even before he entered the ring.

Rocky was blown away there, his height counted against him in the end as his long torso was so very easy to hit.

Amazing to think that Alvarez would probably be the favourite against any Super Middleweight in the world right now.

There was speculation last week online that Dazn were so desperate to sign Mexican Meat, they agreed to a contract in which they don't have the right to say no to Goldenboys choice of opponent for him!!

Thank god for the Wilder and Fury fight forcing a change at heavyweight, or AJ and Eddie would have tried to get away with fighting Millers and Whytes for the next few years.

The guy has got a family to think of.....were any of you lot gonna pay him 1.5million quid???... I can remember rocky on the 2 grand a fight circuit up here then watched him win prize fighter (for 25 grand) and eventually get a belt after serious set back in the blow out loss to smith.....opportunity to fight one of the best fighters on the planet? On the big stage at Madison square garden?...what would you do?...fight low key British level opposition in defence of the regular wba belt for relatively fk all money?.....
He showed bks to get in there with him and he showed bks to keep getting up.... and now him and his family are financially secure...mission accomplished I'd say

Your making the argument from a fighter's perspective. Nothing wrong with that point of view - of course he needs to think about his family and I can understand his logic in taking the fight.

I'm talking about it from an entertainment and sporting perspective - and from that point of view, it was garbage.
