He's enrolled in the voluntary scheme.
The scheme randomly tests.
Interesting that he failed it a month ago and its only just become public, suggests to me they've already had time and tested the second samples.
apparently Michael hunter is being lined up...no I've not heard of him either, absolute PR disaster for AJ/Mathcroom

Keyword: Voluntary.
If you are taking a banned substance why would you volunteer if it's not mandatory?
It isn't really voluntary - it would be part of the contract. When they say voluntary, they mean it isn't part of the regulating body's requirement. If you are taking a banned substance why would you volunteer if it's not mandatory?
I'm 99% certain this will have been the first time Miller would have been subject to VADA testing. And there is no question, he has been taking PEDs for ages - you can't achieve his level of aerobic performance over 12 rounds whilst at the same time being such a fat lump without with 'help'.
I just thought he would have backed off the obvious PEDs for this fight knowing he would be subject to VADA. But it seems not...

I might be wrong, but I honestly think Hearn will be looking to see if there is a way they can keep Miller on the card without making himself look like a complete hypocrite. apparently Michael hunter is being lined up...no I've not heard of him either, absolute PR disaster for AJ/Mathcroom

I reckon we will still see AJ vs Miller without the title on the line.
America being america, its whether its worth it for AJ, no doubt there will be throngs of people demanding their money back and more if its not Miller or for the title.

If I was in his position I'd rather accept a loss and $5 million, than take a high risk that PEDs would get me past AJ, jeopardizing a life changing amount of money.
Not just $5 million, Dazn deal gave him a further two fights at $1.5million each. His previous career high was $500k so financial disaster for him.

Ortiz apparently on a shortlist of 5.
His last fight was on March 2nd so should be in decent shape.
So Hearn today when asked if Ortiz could be a replacement said that was his favourite option. But he also implied Ortiz's team thought he couldn't be ready in time. His last fight was on March 2nd so should be in decent shape.
Now that could be just posturing, but you would think the smart move would be to get your fighter into pole position, and then try and squeeze for more money.
So I wonder if the issue holding back Ortiz will be his concern about passing VADA at this point in time

Stoopid is as stoopid does. His previous career high was $500k so financial disaster for him.
So Arum has ruled out Pulev, as his license is currently suspended until a hearing after his unrequited lunge at the female boxing reporter.
And Miller looks to be definitely out of the picture now as the New York State Athletic Commission have today denied his license.
Suspect it will be Kownacki as the replacement.

Matchroom chief executive Frank Smith told BBC Sport: "We are working on a list behind the scenes and we will work tirelessly until we find a suitable solution.
"We have sold 15,000 tickets already here at Madison Square Garden, 7,000-8,000 of them to British fans. We have sold tickets to people from 50 different countries and they have booked flights, hotels and everything and you have to factor that in.
"Our plan right now is that we carry on with Madison Square Garden on 1 June and we will announce more details soon."

Joseph Parker saying he is ready and willing - haven't seen it mentioned here so thought I would throw it in. Can't see it going any better for Parker this time around if it did happen.
