Incredible finish - glad Szpilka (appears) to have recovered quickly. That was an uncomfortable watch.

I haven't bought the PPV as I'm away in the Isles of Scilly. But from the clip on twiiter, I would have to agree with your choice of word...

Price is boxing well - great variation and movement.

Not seen him box like this for years tbh

Was looking forward to this one, but it's been pretty boring tbh.

Dave Allen sits on his stool, tells his corner to call it off - although he's got oxygen on and has medics assessing him.

Why the he'll they get an interviewer in the dressing room right before fighter is about to go out I dont like.sky do it a lot and I think it's very unprofessional. The last thing the fighter needs is that when there getting in the zone to go out and box.

Will Price finally retire if he loses scratchchin
Will he lose though? I reckon it is a 50/50. I quite like Dave Allen as a person, but he can be very ponderous and slow.

If I were betting, I think I would go against the odds and pick Price to win.
It's a bit vulgar to quote myself, but when Price vs Allen was first discussed on here a while ago Allen was the big favorite. But I posted it was a 50/50 fight and I would go for Price to win.... Just saying for Gadgetmac's benefit biggrin

He's got some stamina considering his body size/weight.. Probably even fitter than AJ?

Whyte seems quietly impressive, but also really sloppy at times. Good jab though, I just wish he wouldn't duck his head so low around the ropes, that's what got Rivas the knockdown. I don't seem him beating any of the top 4 though (Wilder, Fury, Ruis and AJ).

I can see him beating AJ...didn’t he trouble him despite taking the fight at a late notice and wasn’t in good shape? And I don’t rate Wilder...Fury made him look like a poor amateur despite the knockdowns. If you don’t get caught flush I think Wilder is beatable. Even Spzilka was making life awkward for him until he got KTFO.

He might be able to beat AJ, he certainly rocked him, but I think AJ is a better fighter. I don't think he could avoid Wilder's right hand for 12 rounds, I think he's too sloppy in his defence. Whyte vs Fury would be a great fight, I think Whyte could take Fury's shots, but would have to spend 12 rounds chasing him. Would be a great fight I think.

Whyte said he was in bad condition against AJ the first time - he didnt look particularly fitter tonight.

I thought Whyte looked in good shape and gave an impressive performance.

I don't agree with the pundits though that Whyte and Fury would be a good contest - I think a Whyte /Wilder fight would be far more entertaining.
