Fury has split from Ben Davidson, not entirely surprised, wonder what he'll do next?

Freddie Roach I would assume. Brought him into his corner for the first fight with Wilder.

Dodgy splitting from his trainer with 2 months to go. Davidson looked to be doing good work with him until the Wallin fight, where I agreed with his dad that he was underweight.

I'm very surprised. If Fury was underweight, then isn't that down to his nutritionist and conditioning coaches?

I'm always a bit wary when boxers start changing coaches, as often they themselves are the problem rather than the old coach. And Fury doesn't really need a new coach for Wilder, he just needs to focus in camp and to be happy. Which Davidson seemed to be providing. In the ring Tyson can handle himself and has the brains.

Maybe Davidson is against Wild Boar, or flirted with his wife!!

Very odd, hopefully it works out for him.

Anyone been following the Harrison / Charlo press conferences?

Always good value from Harrison. I think I look forward to them more than the fight.

Seeing as he tested negative by VADA, and has now been given total 100% guarantee that the inconsistency in his UKAD test was a mistake, I'd say you are well out of order accusing him.

What is your source that UKAD have given him a "100% guarantee that the inconsistency in his UKAD test was a mistake"?

Dubois needs to be in with the likes of chisora and Parker soon, world champion within next 18 months? Last night told us nothing we didn't already know but how do you match a relative novice with that power?

He should be in with the likes of Chisora and Parker soon, but he's not ready because he's been in against total cans so far. He wants to be taking on some names like Helenius, Breazale, Molina or whatever right now then moving onto top 15 fighters. Ideally he should have already been fighting those guys and done with them. Joe Joyce next would be a good one.

Mad to think that he's had 14 fights now and AJ's 15th fight was Whyte, his 16th a world-title fight and his 19th against Klitschko. Dubois is a million miles from that, Frank Warren is so st.

Frank Warren should be ashamed of himself sourcing Dubois & Furys opponents.
Boxing is dangerous enough without mismatches like last night.

Dubois is clearly a destructive puncher but apart from Johnson who to be honest has been a survival first fighter for as long as I can remember who has he really boxed ?.I do see similarities with a young bruno strong jab big right hand but a little bit stiff and robotic and maybe it's just me but he doesn't seem to possess particularly fast hands.

He definitely has potential to be a world champion let's see what he is like once he gets properly tagged by one of the top 10 heavies I dont think Warren does his fighters any good by giving them soft touches this far into there careers. The fury bout was embarrassing the opponent went over like a gust of wind had come in the building .

Dubois is a massive guy but he doesnt move his head at all, nor guards it very well either. Hes going to get hit by the better guys. I dont believe the hype. The only way he gets a world title is in the limbo between AJ/wilder/fury/whyte's retirement and the next elite fighters coming in.

Hes just not on their level.

Maybe they're giving him time to learn to box as he only had 5 amateur fights (and lost 3 of them).

He doesn't need to guard his head because he's constantly on the ring with people who can't hurt him and he can basically murder with one punch. The reality is we have no real idea how good he is until Warren puts him in with someone who can bang. Gorman was the most interesting test he's had yet and he passed it with flying colours but Gorman has also only fought nobodies so he might just be ste.

Normally Davos123 I take account of your viewpoint, but on this one I'm afraid you are wide of the mark.

He is only 22 years old. Joshua didn't have his *first* pro fight until he was nearly 24.

Dubois turned pro early, so he could gain his grounding in the pro ranks and learn the pro techniques. So rather than going to the Olympics, all of his effort is concentrated on being a professional fighter.

Warren has exactly the right approach with Dubois. Let him get to 24 years old and then compare him with Joshua...

I'm not saying he should be in against the same calibre of fighter as Joshua was at the same stage (my first sentence says he shouldn't be in with Chisora and Parker and that's the level Joshua was fighting against at the same stage) but I don't agree he should still be fighting total cans like this. What did he learn yesterday, other than he can nearly kill a man with no effort who should never have been in the ring with him in the first place? Fighting Gorman was a good call, he should be at least staying at that kind of level at the moment, he needs fighters who are going to give him rounds and test him a bit defensively. If he keeps fighting guys at this level he won't develop as a fighter at all. He may not be ready for the same fights as AJ after 15 but he's certainly ready for better than he's being put up against. Time to sack off Warren and sign for Matchroom if he can.
