I agree that it did appear that FM was propping him up but it's always a risky strategy in boxing - carrying somebody. They just need to get lucky once and that's your career/record/legacy gone.
It's true. He would have had to be really lucky though!I do wonder how many of these freak shows Mayweather will do? It's a ton of cash each time and he seems to enjoy it but he is gambling his 'undefeated' every time, official record or not.
I think the one against Tenshin Nasukawa was riskier to be honest, which is probably why he went out to put him away so fast.

He said some stuff yesterday that indicates he might be done with them. I hope he is.I do wonder how many of these freak shows Mayweather will do? It's a ton of cash each time and he seems to enjoy it but he is gambling his 'undefeated' every time, official record or not.

Tenshin started sitting on his punches so Floyd starting boxing for real and it was over seconds later, I imagine if Paul had done the same we'd have seen the same thing again from Floyd.

He could earn $200m or more if he came out of retirement and fought canelo, or manny, spence etc. But he isn't stupid. It's low risk to fight Logan and also now a younger generation (same age as his kids) knows his name and face. And Mayweather loves fame.

I don't think he'd have a hope in hell against fighters who have trained all their lives. Logan would have been taken apart within a round by someone who wasn't trying to make a show of it.
Logan would also probably end up fighting Light Heavyweight / Cruiserweight and the power of those guys is no joke.
Plenty of man and boy pro boxers get taken apart. Daniel Dubois did fight before last. Mayweather would have been looking for the knockout and he was frustrated in there. Let's just have a reality check here anyone that can stand in a ring with Floyd Mayweather even at 44 and not be even really bothered by him let alone avoiding a knockout on some level you have to respect that.

I'm not suggesting he jumps in with Jo Joyce and gets his head taken off I'm saying that there is the possibility if he wanted to dedicate more time to it he has as good a chance as any other prospect.

Perhaps this is because it didn’t sell very well either at the gate or on PPV. A lot of people beyond punters have come out stating what a farce it was, so maybe that also hasn’t missed his radar. And he didn't get the knockout. Logan Paul will be dining out on it forever I think FM will want to forget he ever bothered!
Hopefully as things open up again we won't have time for these shows now.
I was surprised to see the split on earning from it given that Paul will have brought the audience.

It was entertainment in the same way that WWE is entertainment (when you're a kid or live in your Mum and Dad's basement) so to me it's folly to suggest that the YouTuber Vs Mayweather fight was anything other than a panto.Sebo said:

And yet people say that he could lose a few kg and others say he could never look like haye, AJ Vladimir etc.. why do people say this?? surely he could get absolutely ripped if he changed his lifestyle a little?/ or is it actually physiologically impossible?

What's the benefit in getting absolutely ripped? So long as his cardio is good, why bother? " Top Rank and Sky Sports struck a four-year deal that will see TR’s U.S. fights televised live on Sky in U.K., starting Saturday with Shakur Stevenson-Jeremiah Nakathila. Eddie Hearn left Sky for DAZN, leaving a void. These fights, of course, will be televised in the a.m."

He has been in pretty amazing shape previously. Have a look at the photos of when he fought Chisora. Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
