Yup...Graig McDermott scared the living daylights out of me.

Archer is on another level though.
It was a great time to play though. Every week or other every other week turning up and playing against test standard cricketers.

There’s plenty of stories from batsman about picking bits of plastic out of their gonads in the 70’s/80’s.
I hit plenty in the oft described lower abdomen over the years but.

I got a fairly full ball to come back sharply which was sort of a lift and separate in the package area.

Busted the protector and split his d1ck.

You have no idea how much blood can exit from that part of the male anatomy.

I know very personally just how much they bleed, still cringe 40 years later.

Looks like Pattinson into the 12 for Siddle so rather sharpish bowlers to choose from.

I would have Starc to join Cummins & Hazelwood, he can go for a few but comes from the other side of the wicket and with his extreme angles has a proven ability to destroy the tail.

Who do you drop for Anderson though?
Woakes? If so, we lose a valuable all-rounder.
I wouldn't risk Jimmy, tbh.

BBC reporting three changes for the Aussies...

Labuschagne for Smith
Pattinson for Siddle

Rain stopped.

I saw an article about England’s ashes record at headingley I knew it wasn’t great but it’s actually pretty atrocious.

Pavarotti, you must have played NYSD then. They were great times. Clayton Lambert was outstanding wasn’t he

Frustrating to have won the toss, said we will bowl to make the most of the conditions and then keep being interupted.

Still the fast bowling union won’t care, if they can get a rest every 30 minutes for a rub down and a cup of tea,
