It seems he is to revisit the scene of his greatest triumphs and try to return to the track. I'm not entirely sure its a great idea.
He's 4 years older than last time and hasn't trained for this event properly in that time. The competition will be new and eager to beat him.
He's rightfully seen as the best track distance runner in recent times and it would be a shame to see him fade over the last lap when we all expect him to kick off the front as he used to - he's getting on a bit!
Then there's the Salazar thing. Out to prove he can do it on his own without any assistance from the now discredited scheme?
God forbid anything ever comes out from there which we don't want to hear. I really really hope not.
Maybe the marathon thing isn't really working out as he planned - good but not great as he is used to and the likes of Kipchoge and Legese moving the goalpost just that bit far away?

I am sure with a training camp at altitude he will fine! Has he got a new coach yet or doing it all himself?
