Very solid performance from France. They're developing nicely.

Eeek, did I miss a PH fantasy 6N league. The usual Guinness one?
I’ve got a team in there, can I get an invite link please?

Do the England players know the rules of the game?

Penalty count is pathetic, Scotland playing well but that’s no excuse

England don't deserve to win this at the moment.

One-paced, one-dimensional thuggish rugby and giving away far too many penalties and far too much possession.

It turns out the depressing sight of Gloucester losing before this was just the warm-up act.

(copied from the rugby thread as I hadn't spotted this one at the time)

can't disagree tbh - we are poor

How the fk did the sweaties manage to score that? Not that they didn't deserve it!

Scotland all over England here.

Empty stadium negating the home advantage for twickenham.

Vunipola gets himself sent off for an unnecessary, careless high tackle.

Daly pats the Van der Meuwe on his back on the way past him.

Jones's reliance on Sarries players who haven't played competitively for months looks like a bad idea.

Well that was better than expected from a blue point of view. Only regrets are not capitalising more on an oddly clumsy England performance, and Russell being a twit.

It's been a while since I've seen England play this poorly, hopefully Jones can hand out a few braincells at half time.

Scotland looking great.

I’m not sure why people (England fans particularly) write Scotland off all the time.

Like I said in the other thread the last three England vs Scotland 6N games have been a loss/draw/and win for England.

Russell being off might make all the difference if England come out firing.

Does the 10 minutes rest for Russell start when the ball is next in play ie when Farrell kicks it?

On the TV clock it was at about 1 minute when the pen was kicked.

We don't necessarily write them off, and Scotland play a much more fluid, flexible game which at the moment is preventing England from getting into their one sweetspot.

But, Scotland ARE fragile and their track record on maintaining pressure isn't great.
