Ooooofffff... wasn’t expecting that! A dour struggle, the sort that England usually win. Outstanding discipline from Scotland in defending a lead more slender than it should have been. Well done boys, some sort of forfeit for Russell I suspect for his indiscretion, but loads to build on from there.

In the other dressing room, EJ will just be getting warmed up with his critique.

I was just sat with my mouth wide open at the end. If England hadn’t bothered turning up, and just let Scotland play amongst themselves, the result wouldn’t have been much different.
