Will England uphold tradition and lose the first Lords test of the summer?

I will be interested in seeing how Pope and Lawrence perform. As the much touted future of English batting, I regard this summer as mandatory for performing.

I think Lawerence is a real star, no worries there. Pope, I am less convinced about.

Are there going to be crowds, and are tickets for sale anywhere ?

Lords it at 25% capacity I believe, not sure if any tickets are left or the plans for future matches but I would expect min of 25% capacity.

We are off to Bristol for the ODI in July and as it stands our tickets are still valid. I expect they will confirm nearer the time on capacity and what the latest government guidance is.

New Zealand will be hard to beat here, having won the toss. I think they are a better Test side than us, and possibly the best in the world notwithstanding dodgy spintastic Indian pitches.

England men's second T20 against Sri Lanka on 24 June and the second match against Pakistan on 18 July will be shown on free-to-air television.

Massive knock from Devon Conway, smashed the Lords Record for a debutante batsman.

Twitter claims another ‘victim’ not the first teenager to say or post something regrettable. Interesting it came to light today though.

Have you read the tweets? Pretty bad. When you leave ending a tweet with the #Racist and the your tweet is racist it’s not a good look.

I have read the tweets yes and no I’m not defending him hence describing him as a victim in inverted commas. My point was that kids are prone to saying or doing bloody stupid things often in order to show off or draw attention to themselves. I hope he has learnt the error of his ways, especially given recent allegations against Yorkshire CC regarding islamaphobic abuse.

I understand what you mean, from what I understand he was 18 at the time, so could say that he was being stupid.

What is more stupid is that the ECB hadn’t checked his social media and got him to delete the tweets. Hugely embarrassing for them, especially with the push everyone is having against racism.
