Enjoyed that. Lots of positives. Freeman looked good at centre. Pack were immense.

I know the RFU requested that Delilah not be used wasn't the same request made WRT hymns, or am I imagining that?
You for real?

Let’s just stick with slave songs eh?

Just looking at some stats and in the final standings England have significantly out scored Ireland (179 pts v 135) AND conceded fewer points (105 v 117). Who would have thought that back in February? Not I.

Is it me or is there more than a few occasions of the French lifting legs in tackles to prevent mauls and lifting players in mauls that led to the Scotsman being yellow carded?

A beast of a Pack performance from England, but an even bigger performance from the back row. Good Lord but that was an evisceration and against the best part of the Welsh game - their back row. Jac Morgan has been Wales best player all Tournament, the Captain leading everything and the Currys made him non existent.

Ppl will say it was only Wales, but that was a Pack statement to the Boks. Someone else mentioned about Genge putting some timbre on and he took the previous solid Welsh scrum apart. I think is the new coming of Genge, he’s looked at the Boks and the 20+st French boys and said OK, that’s what I need to compete against.

Oh and Mitchell and Roebuck weren’t too bad, but tbh, the England U9back division would have looked good behind those 8. Ben Earl and CCS were monsters on the charge.

If that goes to a red, this might get more interesting. Still not sure it'd be enough.

It ought to be red and the french commentator who said White was over-reacting ought to be taken out and given a glasgee kiss and see how he likes it...

I'm not sure what you mean by that. England won. They're unlikely to win the tournament and it's likely that the impressive French will, but there's no need to disparage through other results.

Indeed.

The penalty count in this game tho…

I'm not sure how you know my comment is disparaging, which it wasn't meant to be, while at the same time not understanding it.

Lighten up.

I've thoroughly enjoyed a couple of trips back from the hallowed turf after a defeat of Wales, while packed tight in trains, listening to them in song. I don't resent them their singing. Why should I?

Bizarre decision. A deliberate attempt at a flying headbut that made contact? Surely “degree of danger” doesn’t come into it?

It’s just a different game. England sit and watch but the game in front of us is the thing. I’m sure you aren’t disparaging. But let’s enjoy the game in front of us?

Mathew Carley has suddenly noticed the French tactic of all those lifting tackles. About time.

Scotland are really up for this. Forwards slightly second best but they are stretching France when they run at them.
