What is the purpose of the break weeks in the 6 Nations?
Is it to give the players time to rest and recuperate, or is it just so their clubs are not missing some of their best players for 5 straight weeks? Or some other reason that I haven't thought of?
Rest period. Test rugby can be quite tiring compared to the club game. Is it to give the players time to rest and recuperate, or is it just so their clubs are not missing some of their best players for 5 straight weeks? Or some other reason that I haven't thought of?

As a positive I did think that Elliot D was very good - and, for the first time in years, I'm not sure that anyone played particularly poorly so that's good
I know he wasn’t on for long but JvP does not look like a test player As a positive I did think that Elliot D was very good - and, for the first time in years, I'm not sure that anyone played particularly poorly so that's good
