Dan has def been working on his weakness
Still lets himself get hit too much though and shows very little head or torso movement to avoid strikes. Good power though and way improved wrestling. Just wish he didn't risk so much as it's likely to get him caught out again against the better fighters and I'd love to see him do well. He needs a specific boxing coach (rather than Muay Thai or striking for MMA) if he hasn't already got one to teach him that side, imo.

BTW UFC on FX is actually in ESPN tonight (enough acronyms?) at 1.00am including Bigfoot & Browne.

So i'll ask everyone the obvious question about the forthcoming UFC card....Does Bonnar have any realistic chance against the 'spider' ?

Silva suffers a heartache? Or has a 'play' to make it interesting, like I think he did in his first match against Sonnen.

I think he does.

He is very tough, he has never been finished, he has the drive for big fights.

He may not be the most skilful, but full of desire. I think it will be a fun fight if he doesn't get Griffined

What does to be Griffined mean?

Loved it! Good on Bonner for going along with this, Doubt whether it'll bring him any favour in the event though.

Re. this last weekend I think Travis Browne looks potentially very good but gets too nonchalant (cocky!) and tries things he shouldn't that are risky and beyond his repertoire. If he played to his strengths and had a good game plan he could go a long way. Bigfoot on the other hand stayed very calm and controlled.

Don't know how much the knee slowed hm and made him vulnerable to the closing shot, but it was an absolute beauty of a shot!

Oh, and what was the deal with all the black tank tape on Silva's shorts? Wrong sponsor?

As if we needed any more proof. It's like watching an action movie, you can't believe anyone could be so cocky. When you're that good though...

I feel for Bonnar, but given his record of taking punishment, that must have been some knee.

He wants to face small, old GSP, instead of large, young Bones. It's in his best interest for keeping his streak I suppose.

Never stopped, though hurt at times, by blows to the head but a clean shot to the stomach - esp. something as devastating as (that) a knee and anyone's vulnerable, how ever good their chin.

Having seen how he hones his reflexes with the ball throwing drills I'm not surprised Silva felt comfortable standing there. Yet he did take some clean shots and just took them so his whiskers must be good!

I'd rather see him v Jones than Mayweather Pacquiao. Please let it happen!
