Lack of real showstopper fights is a real big issue
Sub standard cards - we pay money to watch these fights...

Perhaps they need to borrow a leaf out of the PRIDE/ Bellator book and have a LW tourney for example rather than all this BS around Interim titles

IMpressed that Angle can still go, considering his body is held together with string and copper wire.

So, a massive UFC show to be held in Russia before years end. Now if only there was a super dooper grudge match that someone could dream up? Hmmmm..

Ben and Fred nailed it for me in the recent commentary.

The Russian broke his hand warming up...

Is there a reason Michael Chandler hasn’t ended up in the UFC?

Is it just a case of he’s earning more (with the sponsors) being at Bellator?

Every chance. The big show isn't paying well....

But.

Some good fights this weekend. Does Justin Gathie have a boring fight?

He’s always entertaining. I wish he would try, just a little, to avoid some damage though. He literally just stands and takes it.

That said I’m a fan of him / his fights.

Uncle Dana wanted a superfight, a champion on champion.

Good fight, OK card but Beast/Predator was horrific. Brock needs to dial back the PEDs.

Awesome performance from DC, him and Miocic are top blokes too, great to see them at the top of the sport

Good to see two new MW prospects coming through in Adessanya and Costa too, they'll liven up that division alongside Tom Breese and a few other up and coming guys which is needed as the top end is a bit stale at the minute with the same 4 or 5 guys having to keep fighting each other

Heavyweight, thus becoming the second ever two-weight (at the same time), champion.

246 pounds DC weighed in. Heavier than Stipe (242.5lbs) Surprisingly.

Enjoyed the card barring the Ngannou fight and Brock at the end

He looked very heavy for it too. Don't know whether he'd have been able to go 5 rounds in that condition.

So I guess DC is a genuine legend of the sport now, could have done without the hystrionics at the end, what is wrong with American people? How excited to they need to be?
