Herman v Rodriguez was a disgrace.

I see Dana White claims Rodriguez will be payed a winners purse. I hope that cash will be coming out of that cheat Herman's purse.

It was a bad call, not sure I blame Herman though, if I got kneed anywhere below the chest and the ref said it was illegal I would take the time

I just watched the fight and I don't know what the referee saw, Herman took advantage of the situation which I think most if not all fighters would do the same, but thought he would admit it at the interview with Bisping.

Personally I thought it was a knee to the solar plexus and would thought the commentators (Bisping or Fitzgerald) would of suggested the reason why Herman was so badly hurt rather than a strike to the body.

Gotta love Dana for calling out Tognoni and to use his favourite punch bag - former referee Steve Mazzagatti.

As well as Tognoni "bad call" IMO the judges for the night were just as bad, I think Lee beat Modafferi 29-28 and Hill beat Waterson 48-47, I don't know how one of the judges scored it for Waterson 49-46.

How perfect was Adesanya the other night? Surgical, one sided dismantling of a dangerous opponent. He has fought a pretty good calibre of fighter and ducks nobody. Will reign for a long time I think

He gave a masterclass alright. So slick, so accurate. Any confidence Costa took into the fight went after that first heavy kick to the knee on his lead leg.

Costa was pretty disappointing. Didn't close the distance and didn't bother defending the leg kick.

Maybe he was biding his time for a counter but he looked pretty toothless.

I don't see anyone in the current top 15 challenging Israel.

I always enjoy it when someone showboats like he did and then gets done, Izzy just sniped him constantly was very good

The Co Main was good as well I thought, the marking on Reyes back eek

I think it was more he couldn't close the distance. Every time he was readt to explode, Israel hit him with a leg kick. Physically and mentally draining, like a good solid constant jab in boxing controlling the range. Anytime Costa did try to close, it was like trying to put smoke in a bottle. As Dundee quipped about Ali, Costa couldn't have hit him in the ass with a handful of sand. Guy is so elusive, fluid and powerful. Proper handful

I've decided that Khamzat Chimaev is currently the only one who has a realistic chance against Israel.

Speaking of surgical and one-sided, Adesnaya needs to get his boob fixed.

I think an in form Robert Whitaker could beat him with the right game plan.

I thought Costa would give it more of a go than he did.

Whittaker was on a 9 fight winning streak last time he fought Israel. How much more in-form can he be?

I'm a Muay Thai guy; it's my thing.

When someone is just better than you it sure looks like you "aren't bothering to defend the leg kick".

The truth is you can't.

Has happened to me in Thailand more times than I would like to count; some little fker with 350 fights under his belt and half my size just neutralises me.

I thought he'd had a bit of break and had some personal stuff going on before his fight camp for that fight. I might have imagined this?!

None the less I don't think he had the right game plan.

Every win streak comes to an end. Usually when form dips, no?

He had the abdominal injury which put him out of the Gastelum fight. Looks like a 15 month break between fights but some of them have long breaks between fights anyway.

Still think he was in top form then?

Agree Bobby is in with a shot when he's on his game. He's known to struggle with his mental health, and I think the pressure of being a champion maintaining his win streak plus Adesanya's mental warfare got to him in their first bout. If he's coming in as underdog I reckon he'll perform better.

I dont have him in same league, as good as he is. Time will however tell!!
