Giants have the chance of a win this week though...

Shermans out now for the Seahawks and some more Qb's have fallen. Have all the seasons been this injury wrecked?

Also Elliots suspension has been upheld though i cant figure out why when the Police didnt prosecute and apparently the women has come out and said nothing happened as well.
Chance of a win, but 49ers have been playing well and we cannot score for toffee so who knows.

The Elliot thing is bizarre. If no arrest and women has said nothing happened how can the NFL suspend him? Odd.

I hope not, re the Giants vs the 49er's as ive got them in my acca, i cant figure out if it will be a high scoring game or a low one.

the 49ers have the new qb but then the lines been woeful really plus the G-men have a win so far this season

Oh well the Giants lurch from one disaster to another. Offense has been shocking all season, and now the defense has quit for the second week on the spin.

We finally got the win clap no starting QB no star WR but for the first time this season our defense clicked and got it done for us !

R.e the 49ers Giants , I'm glad the 49ers got the W. I really like Shanahan , did Jimmy G get many snaps ?

Managed to watch the Jags / Chargers game live last night, courtesy of the US Military TV Network - a good, close game.
As others have noted, injuries are really taking their toll this year and the post-season is going to be an interesting place I think!

Only seen the end of regular time and overtime on the red zone but looked a cracker.

Nat, Osi and J Bell’s two weekly shows on BBC are possibly the best sports highlight shows on UK tv right now. Good analysis but also funny and entertaining. I’m just a casual armchair NFL fan but their shows have been a must-watch for me in the last two years.
We get the one early on in the week in Australia. Very entertaining.

I thought that too hehe I loved the way Mark built it up, suggesting he'd got Osi something nice for his upcoming birthday, and then dropped in his advert instead laugh

Edit - oh, and also the skit with Osi watching his own greatest hits (well sacks) on the interactive screen with some popcorn when they cut back from one of the game reels hehe

The Raiders have been a disaster this season! After what was a great one last year (which could have been better without Carr's injury) it has been a st show! Apparently, NE were training at high altitude for a week in Colorado, Raiders turned up in Mexico the day before the game with no high altitude training...

As a Raiders fan this was somewhat predictable, we had a lot of very tight comeback wins by small points margins last season. When your luck turns (e.g. no interceptions through 10 games!!) suddenly those victories quickly become losses.

The defensive scheme under Norton has been utter garbage through 3 seasons, how he kept his job while Musgrave was fired at the end of last year is anybody's guess. We get no pressure up the middle and even a difference-maker like Mack struggles when facing double and triple teams so, combined with a drop off in the already average play of Irvin, we're not getting any pressure off the edges either. No pressure up front means time for the receivers to get open and against our secondary (a brilliant combination of old, slow and inexperienced) that's really not hard.

Now when you add in the offensive regression this season where we're back to a dink and dunk offense (shallow crossing routes on long yardage 3rd downs anyone?) and a QB who looks like he's feeling the psychological effect of last season's injury when pressured, we're not putting any points on the board at the other end of the field either.

So, in summary, complete trash in all three phases of the game that with a fair amount of talent on the roster can only be down to coaching.

Can you tell I'm annoyed?

More than a decade of struggles and we get to enjoy just a single season of being competitive and fun to watch? Thanks very much Raiders.

having an appalling season here in Cincy, but hey 6 losses on the spin for Denver helps as does 0-10 Browns...

Eli won’t be starting on Sunday for the Giants. Stops a streak of 222 consecutive games starting a QB which is second in the all time list.

Macadoo wants to see what Smith, and Webb can do with this shocking offensive line. Eli was brought to tears giving an interview to the press. I know he has been poor this year but you have to feel for him, as it’s not all his fault.

It's pretty embarrassing when you're replaced by Geno Smith!

McAdoo is a dead man walking and this is a desperate move by a man trying to cling on to a job which in all likelihood he's already lost.

Sorry for not getting back on these points sooner - couldn't agree more! Coaching needs a complete overhaul...but saying that the mini league looks interesting. We have had the better of KC this season and a win here would flip the whole thing on its head
