Anyone seen the Red Lotus Esprit V8 turbo on fleebay?

Does anyone know if that 11k miles and the story is legitimate?

Lovely car with a unique set of circumstances if it can be believed?

Looks a nice car but way overpriced. The bills to finish even without labour will soon run up and it will always be a cat D!

There are some very speculative dealers trying to drive up prices ( as in the Ferrari world!) but I still feel that you could buy a very nice private V8 for sensible price and probably below the price of the red one once finished. If it wasn't cat d it would be worth doing.

I feel it needs to be under 20k in that state of repair and parts needed. Can't even be sure if the engine runs? or how the paint work will last once on the road. All only my opinion f.w.i.w

P.s think you bought the 430 I was after a couple of years ago. Red with Scuderia stripes from Hamilton's?

thanks for your reply, think you're right no the price, it is high and it has so many question marks as you've stated!
My F430 spider was from another dealer, rosso/crema with the carbon race seats, enjoy having it but I never use it, done 400 miles all year!!, I don't like driving about for no reason, weekend traffic and cyclists everywhere kills that idea and the commute option is not a good idea, even as nice a route as I have there is still standing traffic!
Getting back to the Lotus, for the money they are a lot of car with supercar looks, also rare, love them!!
