Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car? Purely for nostalgic reasons I'd love to know the history since I owned it. It apparently still exists on that plate which was a surprise. Originally purchased from Randles in Stoke, I believe it headed west to Wales.

Already tried Jon, a while back. In fact this is the second time on PistonHeads I've tried to locate it, initiated by discovering that it is now listed on a HPi check, so it's out there somewhere.

Look what just turned up

Taken by Liam JR Nichols car photography just a month ago over in Marlborough, Wiltshire

6-7 years ago, prior to emigrating, I'd have paid a kings ransom for her. Looking at the moss underneath and the off-white patchy paintwork, I'm guessing it doesn't get out much frown

I'm not on Instagram so can't read the comments but seems like it has had quite a few replies to the question 'which one would you take?'

Seems it was last MOT`d on 18th April 2012 and had 76,990 miles on at that date.

Isn't Marlborough where that Ebaying Esprit breaker is located? Can't remember his username.

Hi all,

Recently purchased this Lotus Esprit Turbo HC D676 CBF. Was sold to us knowing that it had an insurance claim against it which was in the mid to late 90s. Rung DVLA and they no knowledge of it been a write off although HPI does bring up a claim against it. DVLA suggest that it may have been a minor claim so therefore wouldn't show on their system. Can any previous owners of this car shed any light on the history and insurance claim of this car?

Currently in the process of restoring it (Photos to follow).

Many Thanks,

Neil

Hi,
Bought this car a couple of years ago as a project. Car is now complete with MOT and has recently been sold to a new owner not far from us. Sad to part with the car as the drive was spot on and such a head turner but has gone to someone who will enjoy it just as much as I have. Photos below are of car just before sale.
