Reviving thread as was wondering if anyone has heard anything about dates for Goodwood breakfast club meetings in 2018 yet?

Dates are on the diary as “to be announced” https://www.goodwood.com/globalassets/motorsport/m...

You'd think that they will have another "Sushi Sunday" seeing as last year's got cancelled.

Although an Italian Sunday would be welcomed here too.

Sushi Sunday and hot hatch Sunday bring a certain type of individual, I’m certainly not a fan and I’m a hot hatch owner!

Based on the last few years, the worst "certain type of individuals" turn up for the Supercar one. I will be happy with anything that doesn't involve hundreds of slightly different Porsches.

I think that’s long been the debate for supercar Sunday, what is a supercar. To some Porsche owners they consider it to be a supercar. I believe Porsche have only made 3 supercars GT1, CCGT and 918.

I thought they only had 1 mould at the factory.

But is does warp a bit in the heat.....at least I think that is how they get the different models of 911.

It goes beyond Porsche, basically anyone with a sports car and an inflated ego thinks their car is some kind of super-car, be it a Ferrari, Aston, Jaguar, Porsche... Nissan, Ford or whatever... Personally I think it's all a load of nonsense but people seem to like it so you'll always have the bks that surrounds it, If that's what you're into. biggrin
