Hi everyone, being a loyal follower of the breakfast club meets for as long as I care to remember one thing this month certainly took a shine off the event..
Am I the only one who was disappointed to find that Adrian of Dinkyccino was missing from the event... anyone who knows Breakfast Club appreciates that the best coffee comes from Adrian , in fact it's not the same without his cheerful smile and by far and away the best latte around.
Why else do we queue for 20 minutes some Sunday mornings in freezing temperatures for our coffee, it speaks for itself, in fact the conversation in the queue is always the same.."we would rather queue for a decent coffee"..!!
We had to settle for a coffee from one of the other vans last Sunday and boy what a let down..!! And that was having two queues one for orders and one to collect the drink..!!
I have no comment on the latte..Lol
It would appear that Adrian and his dinkyccino will now no longer be appearing at Breakfast Club..!!! I wonder why..?? Perhaps someone can shed some light on why..???
Cmon Goodwood spill those coffee beans and tell us where Adrian and his popular coffee has gone... something odd there...??
We wait with anticipation!!!!

he hasn't been at any other events either this year... theres also a new van thing i've noticed, some sort of pick up service ? located on the grass in between the paddock areas ?

we should start a petition ....

Have just sent him an email asking after him.
My guess is that the greedy robbers at Goodwood have made it too expensive for him to attend.
He may still be at Goring station in the mornings

Have received a reply from Adrian who is flattered at the interest in his welfare & asks me to express his thanks.
In huge detail he explained the reasons he is no longer at Goodwood & it made shocking & shameful reading, so much so I have advised he needs to take legal advice & maybe seek out an investigative journalist with NO local connections. He makes some appalling accusations including ones relating to discrimination.
Have asked him if he wants me to quote verbatim his email on this site but may caution him in case it has an adverse effect should he be taking the matter further.
I should add that having worked for the estate directly & with linked organisations the content of Adrian's letter did not surprise me in the slightest.

Interesting info - at this stage he's right to not say anything in the public domain.

We should vote with our feet and give GRRC our reasons.

No ideas for a name

Didn't similar happen with Mithril racing?
Goodwood got their own driving experiences in conjunction with BMW... then no room for the guys that ran Mithril?
Corporate money v. enthusiasts.

Very sad to hear this, Adrian was always my first stop at any breakfast club.

I hope whatever the issue is can be resolved as I think this is Goodwood's loss.

Such a shame, far better than having a fizzy drink stall.

Adrian did ask me if PHers were prepared to write to Goodwood. My guess is that any response would be in the form of thinly veiled 'mind your own business, we know best'.
