Brooklands supercar Sunday July 16.
Discussion
I think my car is super so I went there. OK so I didn't get parked in front of the clubhouse amidst the supercars proper but was directed towards the banking & placed amidst some fairly modern Beemers & Jags & a few Audi TT's. . Noted a SL 500 was in the 'demonstrator' area Chaved up with huge chrome wheels & flared arches.
This meet is VERY popular with children, some running amok amongst the cars they no doubt have pictures of on their bedroom walls. Believe me you would not want your half million pound Ferrari covered in their sticky finger marks.

Was a nice day especially as weather held out, loved listening to old f1 cars in the paddock and on track same the Renault broke down on lap 1
Some very nice cars in the paddock
Daughter liked the green huracan, the so called gtr estate looked like a Mitsubishi Galant estate with some serious work on it caught my eye
Old m5 vs. New m5 shows size of cars growing

WJNB, I must have been parked fairly near you (in my old M5).
I enjoyed today, but have realised that on the whole I am just not that interested in the more modern supercars and spent far more time looking at the likes of 355/308/Testarossa, 930/964/944 Porsche, Countach and Diablo - all of which appear more interesting and characterful than their current and recent counterparts and with a stronger design language.
It may or may not be a coincidence that these are the cars I grew up admiring in my childhood, teens and 20's?!

Indeed. I was parked alongside a stunning red Alpina whose owner was a delight advising me about a limited edition Series 3 a friend was considering buying. There was a silver Series 5 next to him.
