Saywell Track Day October 21st

I've heard stories from a friend saying how there is a chance that you can get rides at the track day, anyone know how this works? It'll be my first Saywell event, just trying to sort some stuff out in advance.

Its a charity event so traditionally when you arrive you make a donation and they give you a wrist band to wear, you can also borrow helmets if required. Then you pretty much ask the drivers whether they would take you out as they queue up in the garages/pits.

There can be quite a wait and some drivers are here to play taxi and just say no but others can be really accommodating and take you out in some special cars if you are lucky. Big issue is that there can be a long wait as I'm sure you can imagine...

Hopefully the weather holds off and I might pop along with the better half and the nipper.
