There have previously been "Americana" and "Best of British" themes but yes, this is the first time they've been combined. Could be interesting.

Why on earth can you only book 1 ticket per person?! You need a separate account for each person attending!
Good job Goodwood, you muppets

......seems very quiet on here about breakfast club?
Has the late publishing announcement of the calendar led to a drop in interest I wonder? I dare say it will still be packed tomorrow, especially with this weather....

They had people on the gate for the last BC I went to and they checking to see if you had a printed out ticket. I shouldn't have thought that numbers will be an issue for this event so they may not be too strict.

Supercar however, may well be a different kettle of fish...

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT RE PARKING TOMORROW:
Important announcement:
Although we're expecting dry weather on tomorrow morning, we have put in place a wet ground parking plan - due to the wet weather this last week and subsequent waterlogged car parks - to ensure our customers have an enjoyable and risk-free experience.

On arrival, please follow the yellow event signs which will direct Breakfast Club guests to car parks 8 & 9 at Goodwood Racecourse; you will then be taken directly to the event via shuttle buses free of charge.

Slightly off topic but if you are coming from the Chichester direction there are roadworks between the Rolls Royce factory and the Goodwood entrance, just after the roadworks there is a very large pot hole (I assume it’s not been filled in yet) which I hit in the rain last week and subsequently split a run flat tyre and cracked my wheel.

Car park 8 & 9 is a field which is normally home to the rally paddock at FOS.

I wonder where they'll park people visiting on motorcycles seeing as there's likely to be less of them????

Shuttle bus was in effect - aside from a short queue after going past the house, it was very efficient and didn't take much longer than walking from the other car park. Good turnout today and some lovely cars.

It’s absoloutley rammed now like FOS. We parked at the Hotel and took a 20 min walk. Track was barely half full I’ve seen it far busier. Looked dry enough for parking in the fields as well. I know it’s free but what was a wee meet for guys who like cars has become overwhelmed with people all looking to take pictures tutting if you amble into their careful camera phone shot. I’ve never seen so many people there.

The bus process worked better than i expected, and the small amount of hassle was more than made up for by being able to drive up the hill climb course.
