Hi fellow RBF volunteers
Anyone know what is happening to RBF charity volunteers at Goodwood?
I received an email from Kate to add my name to a 'sign up' list for the FoS and Revival,( which as a long time RBF volunteer who has volunteered for RBF over the last 10 years) - Got a reply from someone else to say I was signed up.
Anyone have more information as to what has happened? What the new procedures might be?

I was hoping for a bit more information as well, I’ve signed up, but I doubt the organisation will be as good without Kate/RBF.

Thanks for responding - thought I might be the only active person on PH that was an RBF volunteer. I usually do a couple of hours on the gates over the weekend, which with the signing in and picking up buckets, 30 mins early and then returning them which adds another 30 mins usually equates to 3-4 hours is fine. Not accounting for 'no shows' which adds even more time.
My main concern is that we don't know the new 'terms and conditions' - previously Goodwood volunteers have been asked to pay the full ticket price up front and then claim back the amount that they've worked. With RBF we generally only work for a few hours each day- where as Goodwood seem to think 4 or more hours volunteer work is the norm.

End of an era for me and fellow RBF volunteers. Goodwood have sent us an email to say they won't be using our services anymore.
They have suggested alternatives which is to sign up to their Goodwood volunteers page or to contact their chosen charities ourselves.
