Goodwood FOS - Sunday Shuttle Service

Hoping to get some advice from anyone who has journeyed to FOS via Train, and taken the Shuttle Service to the event.
Previous years have driven down - but never thought of the Train / Shuttle being an option - What is the shuttle service like, are we likely to be stuck in a queue for hours to get on it, then hours in traffic......

I love going by train it is so restful BUT have never done so on the Sunday
This year the bus is £ 7.00 return and they are very frequent & door to door - yesterday it seemed to take a roundabout route to get to the entrance and got caught a little in traffic on the bypass coming back at 530
