Any advice, I'm off tomorrow, normally travel A303/M3/M27/A27, but am tempted to go Winchester / Petersfield and then cross country to Goodwood, which looks like it might miss the A27 queues, is it worth giving it a go?
Thanks
G

For anybody considering this route next year, we drove straight in, very short queue, arrived circa 9am.

Sssshhhhh!

Actually, because the roads at East Lavant are closed I normally go via Midhurst for Goodwood events and drop down Kennel Hill. I did this route at 8.00 am on Friday and 10:15 am Saturday and got straight in both times. Quite often in the past I've been queuing from before the horse racing course. My parents who live in Midhurst have told me they haven't noticed any significant traffic problems there this weekend (above the usual).

I don't know if Goodwood's traffic management has improved immensely or there are just not so many going this year.

Many of us regular's that were there yesterday, were all commenting on the apparent lack of people for a Sunday.
It was first time for 3 years that I'd been on a Sunday, and I couldn't believe how 'crowd free' it was walking around compared to 2015...and previous Sunday's that I'd been.

I watched the whole Revival weekend on YouTube and when spectators were shown round the circuit I thought the same.

I suspect the two previous years of bad weather have had an effect on this year's ticket sales.
