Just planning sustenance for tomorrow. I usually take a cool bag but kicked myself once on a previous visit when I saw the retro Tesco store.
Anything like that there this year, or other tips?

No tescos bring food if you used too, brekkie best from diner truck inside main entrance. One tip from yesterday don't use coffee van at lavant worst coffee even would have rather licked up oil from track and service was crap!

Had a tasty pie and pint (pie with mash and peas and gravy) for £11 from behind Woodcote earlier, food and drink is expensive as you'd expect but this seemed better value than most. And it was good!

Fish and chips was average yesterday for £11, a bit on the small side and that didn't come with a beer....

Bring your own if you're prepared to carry it around or you're going to spend most of the day in one place.

I’ve been there the last 2 days. Naafi wagon near the Earl’s Court motorshow is good think it was £6-7 for sausage baguette which tastes great.

Carbonis at lavant corner is very good food. And today I had a pretzel, and sausage with coleslaw and mustard roll for £9 from the bmw stand and for £14 you got a pint. Worth paying to avoid lugging food around all day.

The burgers from the ‘over the road’ place are expensive, but proper burgers ( big meaty pattys, in a proper Brioche bun) and right next to a beer place too. The German / BMW place by the Salvadori pavilion, has Paulaner and big pretzels as well.

I went there for the first time ever today. Very enjoyable event.

We ended up getting a short free taxi ride to the kennels for a spot of lunch then a ride back.

The prices were ok and it broke the day up as you get to have a ride in a vintage car for free ( well a couple of quid in the charity tin)
