I’ve got to say that was a very enjoyable breakfast club. Far nicer than the previous hot hatch Sunday and some lovely cars including a very early civic.

Agreed - that little red Civic was great. Also, was nice to see the raven blue Lupo GTi - still wish I'd not sold mine.

Was a really good turnout, and what I particularly like about hot hatches is the fact that they are fast, fun and accessible to almost everyone.

Seeing some rare ones like the Polo G40 was a nice sight, and the Renault 5 turbo 2 - black one with leather Recaros was a pleasant surprise.

Fantastic morning today. Great turn out and great weather (given November) to match. Particularly enjoyed the old Fords.

I too would love to see some pics. Hot hatches are my favourites, a real shame there isn't something similar up north! Been jealous of this event for years.

I went down today, first breakfast club I've been to. Apart from the breakfast itself been very overpriced (£9.50 for a bacon roll and coffeeyikes) I thought it was a good morning out! Nice relaxed atmosphere and a decent selection of cars to look over. I got there at about 7.30 which seemed a good time as I've heard some people leave the show pretty early, so got to see everything I wanted.

This seemed an interesting find, don't think I've seen one before

As expected there was a pretty good selection of Golf GTIs too cloud9

Excellent selection of cars and just not as packed with tourists as the summer time ones. Loved the Renault 5 Turbo and the sheer amount of individually modified Abarth 595's was something to behold

There aren't many Strada Abarths about ,I think it's the one owned by a couple who also own a silver

Barchetta as they take both to some shows and I know they live on the south coast.....nerd

After a wet start in Southampton it turned out to be a really nice morning with a good turnout of both modern and retro hot hatches.

Thanks for the pics chaps.

Nice to see the Escort Cosworth out ,too many precious Cosworth garage queens ,especially in November.

I was right about the Strada owner ,he's in the pic.
