Hi All,

Looking to go to FOS this year for all 4 days but wanting to camp instead of book a hotel etc.

Apparently campsite H is the best campsite location at Goodwood itself but as it is just me and I am camping in my car I won't need a full pitch and I am not convinced it is worth it for 265£.

First question is whether there are any local campsites of a reasonable price (10£/per night) at fos time. Been searching for a few but it doesn't seem there are many in the Chichester area within a 10 mile radius.

Secondly, does anyone know of any spot off the road near chichester that I can park up and "wildcamp" at?

Thirdly, I don't know whether this is possible but is there anyone who wants to split a pitch at campsite H? Ill only need space for a short wheel base car.

TIA smile

A few years ago I stayed at Maynard's campsite near Arundel for FoS. It was around 10 miles away. I think it was around £15 a night for car + tent. The UK Campsite website has a map search on it if you want to look for a nearer site.

I’ve stopped a number of times on the Goodwood site but non electric pitch. Still expensive but about £165 for the duration.

Hi we are only intending to camp for the Friday night - am I correct in goodwood don’t offer camping by the day ? If not would we be allowed to ‘pass’ our pitch to others for the Saturday and Sunday night?
Thanks - just it’s expensive to buy the whole weekend camping
