Goodwood Track Day 2nd December 2019

Hi - is anyone on here doing the track-day tomorrow? I've booked last minute today online.

I like to spectate so is it the usual selection of cars i.e. 'run what you brung' sort of thing? Weather looks sunny & dry.

Its an Opentrack day so will be everything from my MINI (although not tomorrow!), through Ginettas and McLarens to full on track cars. Well worth a trip if you're interested and you might even snaffle one of Dave's free donuts!

I’m planning on taking a 911.2 GT3 - do they pass the noise test.

Donuts! say no more I'll be there Don't remember free donuts before though. Will be there 1.30 on with very shiny black SLK.

Update. Amazing day - the sun was shining, and not too many cars. Very well organised by Dave at opentrack.co.uk

The GTS passed the static at 95db and was not flagged once during the session - result! Thought I'd try the GT3. It also passed the static test at 92db - result.... Until the second lap I was kicked-off for breaching all 3 sound meters in one lap!!!! It did sound amazing though smile

Looks like it's 105db days only for the GT3.
