Or just be a normal decent individual and park with everyone else and walk in?
Exactly. It the self entitlement that seems to be afflicting a lot of society.

Nice morning for a run to Goodwood rolleyes
A bit late now i know but just had a thought for any other cancelled breakfast mornings, the tower cafe is open on Sundays and mainly during the summer months people meet up there for a small unofficial gathering, perhaps we should have done the same today as there is no issues within the circuit and the cafe should be open ,especially as it's a lovely sunny day,
I imagine many did especially with the weather we’ve had today.
We did exactly this as we’d planned a drive down for the Vee Power meet. A nice selection of 25-30 or so came with everything from an Aventador and a Gt3 RS to a standard Peugeot 306

Great breakfast at Goodwood and pretty reasonable too. Then Four Marks supercar club arrived so took some photos then a nice drive home.

Well worth going..

Maybe they could move it back a week, so I could cancel my rebooked hotel, and rebook the weekend I had to cancel because they moved it forwards a week after CONFIMING the date! smile

Tarmac the fields !!!!!!

We've got enough bl**dy new houses going up around Chichester as it is.

Sorry, NIMBY sore point at the moment. Not something I normally suffer from but it's getting a bit daft. I wouldn't mind so much if they looked decent quality/size and were going to bring the prices down for the youngsters, but they are not on any of those points. The current prediction is an additional 4,000 homes around Chichester which is probably doubling the number in the town/city.

Spleen vented, I feel better, back to cars.

Don't be daft, stiff upper lip ole boy, were British (well a few of us are), a good dose of Vicks Vapour rub and a packet of Snuff and we will be fine.

Damn - I was supposed to be going with a group of people, and when it was cancelled I suggested doing exactly that. But the answer was that there may be a massive amount of the public who hadn't realised it was cancelled, and it would be swamped.

Sounds like it was the right idea after all!

Bit O/T but have you seen how fast the David Wilson development is going up at Madgwick? I don't see the rush given that Cala homes are struggling to sell what is already at Shopwick across the A27.

It wasn’t busy at all. I guess there were maybe 50 cars in the paddocks bit ( if that’s what it’s called ? ), plus the fourmarks lots ( another 20 -25 ? ) and a dozen or so the other side of the track.

Meant no queue for breakfast biggrin
