It was nice to be able to behave ( pretty much ) normally again. Great entertainment, and a good crowd.

Hugely enjoyable event as always, very impressive array of drivers and their cars doing their stuff.
Superbly organised.

It's only a Lateral Flow Test, it's free, easy, done at home. As requirements go it's the most lenient and basic possible in the current climate.

How is that 'apartheid' in any shape or form?
Seen the news tonight.

Yes I did. At the end of the day it's a government decision and if they feel it's the right thing to do for the wellbeing and safety of the country, I have absolutely no issue with that.

I'm sure Katie Hopkins will find another country to annoy soon enough anyway.

It was great to be there again , but it didn't feel like a proper FOS.

It felt very empty. I went on Thursday and Saturday. And after going i didn't have the usual post FOS buzz i usually have.

A lot less Manufacturers , A lot less stuff in general.

Also , i've been to every FOS since 2012 , and this years central feature was the worst i have seen by far!

They had capped the tickets sales at 40,000 per day. There were less cars there due to the travel restrictions at the time and what other countries have in place for international travel.

I have been to every FoS since 1997. With fewer people there, it was nice. As I can remember the days when we use to rattle round the paddocks.

This years central feature was awful. It wasn't a Gerry Judah. Over the FoS weekend, Gerry Judah kept posting photographs of his previous sculptures from other FoS on Instsgram.

Let’s hope the revival and members meeting will be more “normal “ now that restrictions are lifted in many ways and also they aren’t expected to be pilot events to my knowledge.

I'm assuming proof of vaccination or a negative test is not needed for revival? I don't see anything mentioning it on the website

There was no need of anything other than the entrance ticket to Silverstone classic as an example.

It'll just be a case of showing your ticket, waiting for the gate persons scanner to go 'bleep', and walking in.
