Confirmed for April 15-16th. Tickets on sale to members from September 5th and Fellows from September 16th.

Hotels already limited/expensive, even the usually much cheaper Premier Inn Portsmouth prices are way, waaaay higher than usual.

The Prem and Holiday Inns around Pompey have never been cheap. Have booked hotels around Pompey for yrs, never understood how the “cheap” places have never been bloody cheap.

I've not paid more than £70 on FoS/MM weekends at the various Portsmouth Premier Inns (including both this year). Breakfast included for FoS this year with that too!

Just booked Village Hotel for MM, £89 pretty reasonable.

Yeah, the Village is reasonable, but not cheap. It’s still £90 for a mostly 3* biz hotel. My comment was relating to hotels around Pompey on an all yr round basis, I’ve stayed in pretty much every single one in the surrounding area on biz. If I’m staying on my own for MM or Revival I often stayed out at Marwell zoo.

Jumped straight onto Booking.com as soon as I saw the date this morning. Got a booking in Chichester but had to pay £150/night.

Try and get a nice hotel in Devon on the same dates and it makes anything around Portsmouth look good value for money.

If you can bear them, the Travelodge towards the top of the M275 is currently showing a saver rate of £67.99 for the Saturday night.

We've booked an apartment in Chichester for a very reasonable £380, two nights, sleeps 4. Result.

Bit sad it’s getting later in the year if I’m honest, the snow at 76MM was fun! Looking forward to the GT1 demo and the return of the SF Edge race though….

Did seem a bit of an odd decision given that it was a one-off extreme event that's never likely to be repeated. I loved that it was a proper opener to the season, and yeah, it could be bloody cold, but as an event that's essentially solely for the most enthusiastic of enthusiasts that never seemed to be a problem.

From a photography perspective, much better light when it was in March too, and into-the-night racing.

Test day spectator tickets are now available on the Goodwood site.

It is free access but you have to book a place.

I was able to book tickets for all of the MM test days.

I also noticed they've already put the test days up for the revival so I have booked tickets for those as well.

I thought these were only available to members?

Yes, admission to the test days will be with the email confirmation and current GRRC membership or Fellowship lapel badge only. If you do not have your lapel badge with you, one of the GRRC team will be on hand to check membership status.

Best wishes,

Sarah

@Sarah.. Are passes for MM still being sent out, or is it collection only now? I bought them on 28/2. Thanks.

You’d be better contacting the ticket office direct as Sarah works for GRRC which is separate. Did you pay for postage or did you tick collect?

Ah ok, fair enough. I don’t think I had the option of post or collection, so must be past the cutoff for postal deliveries

Dear all,

Event tickets are still being sent out, even for Members' Meeting, as long as you are in the UK. You can find the delivery options by going to the 'View Basket' screen before you check out. There is a drop-down menu at the top of this screen that allows you to choose your delivery method (as helpfully screen-shotted by Ian, above).
However as also mentioned above, ticketing questions are usually best directed to our Ticket Office (01243 755055) who can answer you straight away - I don't look at these forums every day, I'm afraid!
Hope you enjoy Members' Meeting,
Sarah
