I'm travelling to the Vee Power breakfast event this weekend and whilst it will be clean before I set off from home, I would like to be able to blast the muck off the car from the journey there if I can. My efforts at Googling to find one haven't helped me. Could anyone with local knowledge recommend a garage local to the Goodwood circuit that has a jetwash facility? Thanks.

A small thread hijack.

They did open up the racecourse car parks (which are hardstanding) a few years ago for general public parking. Does anyone if they are doing this again as the car parks are probably going to be swamps?

Just had this...

Due to the weather forecast and the ground conditions in the fields around the Circuit, spectator parking will be in Car Park 8 at the Goodwood racecourse, with free shuttle buses to and from the Circuit.

On arrival at Breakfast Club, please follow the yellow event signs to get to the Racecourse car park, which is free. You will be directed by marshals, please follow their instructions closely and drive with due care and respect for other visitors and local residents. Please note that as with the public car parks at the Circuit, the Racecourse parking will be on grass.

Blimey, I am going senile, could’ve sworn that they were hard standing car parks. Does anyone know if the roads around the spaces are hard standing? From the ariel pictures on the net it looks like they might be.

Bit wimpy I know but don’t want to risk getting my month old low slung car getting stuck in the mud. I’ll leave that til next year!

Looks pretty quiet. I was going to have my car on show but I've had a really bad cold this week. Never felt anything like it :/

Spoke with one of the marshals early on, they said they were down almost 2000 cars! It was Very Very wet, even the paddock was only a 3rd full, but despite that I still enjoyed my morning, Didn't like the alarm going off at 5.30 am then having to get up and shift a couple of cars around before I could get the Viper out of the Garage into the rain but hey ho its only water and life cant go on without it. smile Got to drive to the NEC Thursday for the Classic car show so car will most likely get washed again!

I was surprised that they were checking tickets on the gate. I normally screenshot it the night before but with the weather so poor I didn’t bother as knew they’d be under capacity so was quite surprised when I was made to dig out my email from ages ago with a ticket.
