Goodwood Full Membership

The Kennels is worth it alone for me but if I wasn't local it wouldn't be a benefit.
What I do want to see is enforcement of the entry rules.
Do you mean entry to the Kennels or entry to the GRRC?What I do want to see is enforcement of the entry rules.
I’ll carry on with my GRRC membership partly because I am local (relatively - 30 minutes) and use the Kennels regularly.
So here's another little gem.

So we have 5 whole days to renew our memberships to be eligible to receive one of our so called benefits in 2025.
Perhaps give us a month? What if we're out of the country and with little internet access that week, just like I will be.
Take note if you want to keep your 25% FoS and Revival ticket discount....

Just pay be DD, no problem.
And how does the submitting your DD mandate by 29th November 2024 confirm you will still qualify for the discount? What if I don't want to pay by DD?
The 25% discount is advertised as a Full Membership Benefit, I don't recall there being conditions that apply to each "Benefit".
What's next, discount only available to those that buy "Goodwood Credits" and have had a +£100 positive balance for 6 months?
I'd also like to know if the proposed Parking Charges non event weekends (Track Days and the like) are going to apply to GRRC Members.

The Kennels are the big benefit for me. The GRRC membership facilitates that and provides some other advantages above Fellowship.I’ll carry on with my GRRC membership partly because I am local (relatively - 30 minutes) and use the Kennels regularly.

I think you're misinterpreting the message. I read it as renew by the 25th ... if you want to buy tickets when they go on sale on the 26th.Perhaps give us a month? What if we're out of the country and with little internet access that week, just like I will be.

i.e. renew before you buy, not renew by 25th at the latest.

I agree....I don't think the offer falls away after those 5 days...as long as there is ticket availability, the 25% discount will apply. At least that is how I read it!!!i.e. renew before you buy, not renew by 25th at the latest.

That is correct - your 25% ticket discount benefit remains for the duration of your current membership, but if you would like to buy tickets for the 2025 Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival on or shortly after 26 October, when sales open to GRRC members, you must either have a current direct debit in place, or you must have renewed your membership for 2025. If you would prefer not to renew until later in the year, that is absolutely fine - the deadline is 31 December.
If you have any questions about your renewal, or about your GRRC membership in general, do contact us (grrc@goodwood.com or 01243 755057).
Best wishes,

I posted a couple of days ago that one of the reasons I keep my GRRC membership is because I use the Kennels regularly. So today six of us, three couples, decided today to meet at the Kennels for a bar lunch. On arrival at 11.00 there was a notice on the door advising that the Kennels was closed from 12.00 for a private function. When we queried with the lady on reception why no notice had been given she said that she thought an email had been sent out. Well, between us all we covered GRRC membership, Golf at Goodwood membership and Kennels social membership and no one had received an email.
Like many on here we try to be supportive of Goodwood but at times it seems the Goodwood management is just determined to p*** us off.
If you read this, Sarah, perhaps you could comment.
PS all wasn’t lost as we had a pleasant lunch at the Aeroclub instead.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Please could you message me with your email addresses and I can look into why none of your party received the communication. I apologise for the disappointment, and I'm glad that the Aerodrome were able to step in to save the day!Like many on here we try to be supportive of Goodwood but at times it seems the Goodwood management is just determined to p*** us off.

Spoke to a friend today who has been a fellow for 2 years he got offered full membership last week which he’s accepted. No more long waiting list or have they increased numbers again?
I'm UK based and got offered Full after two years Fellowship. My friend in Netherands has been a Fellow for six years, he says.
And hasn't been offered Full.
Can you work that one out?

Surprisingly, you would think that joining the waitlist is automatic when joining the fellowship, but in traditional Goodwood style that is not the case and I suspect your friend has not ticked the box. My friend in Netherands has been a Fellow for six years, he says.

I would think the same, and he did tick the box. There doesn't seem to be a straightforward way of looking online but if he goes to his purchase history there should be a zero-cost purchase for "GRRC - Member in Waiting".
If you have a lot of transactions you can filter by Product Type: "Memberships", which is below "Home Games", "Away Games" and "Season Tickets". Do you get the feeling Goodwood bought this system secondhand?
