Enjoyed it personally. I wonder if anyone else noticed the nice policeman sitting on the other side of the road just outside Midhurst as the limit changed to 40
No, but on the way home I noticed the police roadblock a couple of miles up the road at the end of the long straight between Midhurst and Fernhurst. Police BMW SUV with blue light flashing facing up the road and another BMW in a layby on the other side. :scrathchin:

Thought it was decent but it felt like there was still alot of space available. Thought the Jag Project 7 was the most interesting car of the show,.

Supercar Sunday is always full so hopeful there will be a bit more on display.

I was in my Griff 500 behind a blue Z4M Coupe on the way down this morning at 7:30am in front of the BMW was a snow white Boxster GTS and a McLaren (I think). Good spirited run, was that you?

I looked for you on the track to say hello. When I turned off to go to Gate 11/Woodcote I saw you go straight on so thought you'd be on the grid or in the paddock somewhere.

Chatted to the guy in the Carrera GT, he worked for the owner of the Pegg Collection.
The Enzo was meant to be there also but broke down on the A3.

Seemed a bit more commercial this morning. More signage and more places to get coffees and pastries etc.
No shortage of spectators despite the donations wanted now. Fewer cars on display, Goodwood’s choice or the £50 donation wanted?

Really enjoyed it and some interesting cars as always.

That said, one paddock seemed to be entirely BMWs and another entirely Fords so not a lot of mixture there.
So Goodwood themed paddocks 1, 2 & 3.

Paddock 3 was “You will be part of a display, celebrating post 1990 Fast Japanese cars inspired by the 35th anniversary of the Honda NSX.” I guess they needed to better explain what the paddocks were about.

Ah yes, that explains it. I think it was Hondas and MX5s. I didn't realise it was 'themed paddocks'... hehe

Yes, I chatted to him. Porsche Carrera is one of the few 'supercars' I'd like.

I thought breakfast club was dreadful this morning. Only a handful of special cars. Goodwood, do better
Personally I felt the opposite. Normally do Supercar Sunday so this was my first taxed and tested but I preferred it. A nice variety of cars and some interesting motors plus some blasts from the past. Made a change from looking at row after row of GT3 RS and McLaren’s.
Yes, i enjoyed it, obviously loads of Ferraris, Porsches, some McLarens but some interesting cars too. That said, one paddock seemed to be entirely BMWs and another entirely Fords so not a lot of mixture there. Anyway, it's free so to say "Goodwood, do better" sounds a bit entitled. It was a nice morning drive down, bacon & egg roll from the NAFFI chat some like mined owners and a pleasant drive home in the sun. Can't see anything to moan about. biglaugh I always miss Supercar Sunday as that's not of interest to me.
I thought it was a really enjoyable morning. I thought it was a good mix of cars and actually liked the idea of the BMWs, Fords and Japanese cars all being together. And even the ticket app seemed to work perfectly.

Nope, best one for awhile for me.

Returning home about 11am through Petworth the turning to Midhurst was blocked by 3 police cars. We wondered if there’d been a big accident.

The photo above reminded me, how often do you see 3 BMW Z8’s together? Great looking cars and rather pricey these days. The 911 S/T was also very nice.

Apparently the one without a registration plate belonged to BMW UK. One of the most recognisable is 28 BMW which is on 220k miles and has done Gumball several times, however that wasn't there today.

The BMW M5 above is a genuine Gumball entrant too...
