This was a common sight today;
My mate had 4 punctures. No idea what was going on, after the second we thought there was something stuck in the tyre but couldn’t find anything. The next the inner tube just blew a hole in the side. The next one after that was a different again. After the 4th we just decided that I would go home and pick him up in the car.
A nice picture from one of our stops;

First ride on my new Crush RS, only to take Angus out for a run but I couldn’t wait I had to ride it
Two properly cool-looking hardtails!I had a very muddy weekend up in the Peak District. A ride both days. Saturday, a short loop round Harewood with some fun bits. Sunday, a longer loop round Linacre which had a few great bits, but was probably a bit too boggy really.

Thanks :-) Hardtails are great, more I ride my Hardtail the more I think you don't 'really' need rear suspension at all it just lets you get away with more. Monstering on straight lining rough stuff on a FS still makes me smile mind :-)I had a very muddy weekend up in the Peak District. A ride both days. Set off without a route in mind...
Later on I'd regret not heading west first, fighting the headwind home was grim
Three downs and two ups to get to Devil's Dyke
Fulking Escarpment. Usually wet and squishy (mainly cow poop!) but today dry and rock hard.
Got to the Dyke and stopped for an energy bar. Realised I'd lived here for 20 years and never been down the Dyke...
