Great shot and hell of an effort!

Thanks, probably most climbing I’ve ever done. Very gusty at the top too.

This ride was last Sunday. 112 miles all in from Swindon to the second Severn Bridge and back. I have G's sunglasses.

Did you head into Brighstone Forrest at all, great trails. Riding on IOW is great.

Yes we did go through Brighstone forest but stuck to the bridleways, I was aware that there are decent trails in there but to be honest didn’t spend any time exploring as I was with my 63 year old dad :-) lots of logging activity going on too. lovely part of the world though, the views from Mottistone down out over the sea were worth all the hills!

I had a fun ride in the Peak District today.
I started at Ladybower:

Rode (pushed) up some stuff like this:

And thoroughly enjoyed the ride down, so much so that I didn't take any photos!

Wakey wakey ride for Monday morning, before work...

A bit of off-road, single track action sets up a much better mood for the rest of the day biggrin

I had 2 days in the Grizedale area of the Lake District, one at the trail centre, one on a loop to the East. Both days it rained in the morning but cleared for the rides. Plenty of mud but still a lot of grip, it'll take a lot more rain to get to proper autumn riding. Even had some blue skies!

Thursday morning, just stopped and watched - can’t quite see on the pic but there were about 20 sea kayakers out there too...

Three of us took a day trip to Mount Stromlo in Canberra. It’s a 650km round trip but the trails and the views are easily worth it...

First ride in over a month having broken my scapula, went pretty well. Could do with Velosouth being a month away rather than a week though!

Spent 4 hours today all over the eastern half of the Velosouth route. A lot of the Highways Agency signs in a couple of villages have "Stop" graffiti'd on them, this one had a nice additional sticker attached. The best had "the hate" added after the stop.
