That's got to be Eling Tide Mill near Marchwood? I don't recall a brewery there when I last visited though? Could be worth a return visit...

It's been a while since I was down that way. The last few times were unplanned visits on the way to/from other places too. I've never seen it running though, more's the pity. I love old stuff like that, especially if it's still doing the job it was built for (even if it is mostly for the benefit of the tourist trade...)

Some stunning places you ride in, for me its the polar opposite.

While away at work I have to make do with the Kazakhstan countryside around Tengiz. Make the most of it though as winter is coming and minus 30 deg is the norm.

It is Eling Tide mill, the brewery isn’t there, it’s about 10 or so miles up the road, Near Eastleigh.

Thanks for clarification. It won't be the first time I've put 2 + 2 together and ended up with 5...

Unbelievable weather again today, I had to sack the London ride off, mainly due to the industrial action, by the monkeys of the RMT, meaning the train back from Woking, on the return leg option wasn’t open to me.

I went to Southbourne again, but today it was very misty, out to sea. I can’t believe I was sat outside having a beer, in a short sleeved race suit, on the 5th October, in the U.K. laugh

Just under 20 miles and 2500ft of climbing around Friston forest and a short bit of the South downs way. Some excellent singletrack in the forest, and a perfect set up of long fireroad climb and long singletrack sections to the bottom.

Winter has arrived. Usual club run to Chedworth attracts 50 plus members. This morning there was 6. We didn't even make it to the planned cafe stop as the weather really was miserable.

It’s just a short one for me today. I had to get some more GT85, so I made a (short) ride out of it.

I had a great 50 miler around west Cheshire’s lumpy bits.

Excellent brekkie too to boot!

This was taken whilst I was waiting for the rest of the club to arrive, as I’d made good time to the meet up point...central Chester.

The Oxford University Cycling Club Freshers' TT. I felt just a little bit out of place!
I kept up with the roadies on the 25 mile ride back though.

Autumnal Four by Lewis Craik, on Flickr

I had been planning on going to a trail centre on Sunday morning, but after a crap nights sleep and wth loads of jobs to do in the afternoon I decided that a local ride was the sensible option. I ended up having a really fun ride.
