Damn those cyclists. Always crashing into each other and roadside fixtures. Causing delays while their bikes are recovered, and leaving behind a trail of expensive repairs. They're a scourge, I tell thee, a bloody plague...
Not sure if this was meant to be an instruction. But I complied with the order. Or at least I tried to. Which is what resulted in the first picture.

Beautiful Sunday morning, first through the trail which means clearing the spider webs, of which there are fking thousands at this time of year...
Fortunately, today’s wtf moment happened when I got to the beach, not on a dodgy part of the trail...
Lost a bolt in the cleat and luckily was leaning against that tree when this was discovered as the shoe wouldn’t release. Noice.

I'm not sure if thats unlucky or lucky failure PomBstard! Nice photo through the trees too.
First time down this trail in a few months and hit a drop I hadn't before. They always look tame as anything in photos though!
You don't want to miss the little bridge on the runout...

50 miler over to Beeston Castle, nasty headwind on the return, plus my usual coffee stop closed due to Covid (not even takeaway) meant I had to resort to Costa in Chester
This is at the top of Borras Head near Wrexham (Peckforton Hills in the distance, which is where I was headed....)
The road down to Holt properly flooded after yesterday’s rain.

A wet and muddy ride out to the Surrey Hills yesterday morning. This is at the top of Barrys and the keen eyed among you will notice the lack of a chain. Yup, caught the rear mech on a branch on Yoghurt Pots and it sheared off my mech hanger! Very annoying! It's very weird freewheeling a trail, especially one like Barrys. New hanger ordered and will be back out next weekend!
