Broke the 1500 mile in six month barrier this morning with an easy 20 miler by the sea.
Not bad for someone with bad arthritis & who hasn’t ridden in 15 years. Decent medication package helps!
Had an off at mile 3 though. Slippery drop curb, bashed up knee . Hey Ho!

Brisk ride out this morning!
I've pretty much got my winter clobber sussed now, but after 90 minutes my feet were like ice blocks. Any recommendations for some decent socks? I have some SealSkinz overshoes which are great for my road bike, but won't work with flats
The Rapha Deep Winter ones (knee length) are amazing. I've pretty much got my winter clobber sussed now, but after 90 minutes my feet were like ice blocks. Any recommendations for some decent socks? I have some SealSkinz overshoes which are great for my road bike, but won't work with flats
