In 99 percent sure that's not the original run. I have the same one and have memory there was a run before that. Must be over 10 years ago though.

If it was approx 9.30 the that would have been me!

09:30 sounds about right! There were LOADS of cyclists out on Sunday. I'm guessing there was some sort of organised event happening as I saw a marshall at the bottom of the climb?

Yes there was a Sportive based from Swanmore school. I was unintentionally cycling in the opposite direction for much of the route. BTW i like your name. Had a 156 V6 back in the day.....My finances have only just recovered

Ah that makes sense! We were on a club ride and accidentally joined the route for part of it.

Mine was a 2.0 twin spark. Long gone, but I look back fondly (and with rose tinted glasses, it left me stranded I think 3 times, used a litre of oil every 6-800 miles and went through wishbones faster than tyres.) it was just shy of 150,000 miles when I changed it though. So it did some things right.

If it looked like i was struggling... i was. Been a while since ive done a road ride, had just about run out of water and the headwind for the last 10 miles was a killer!

Haha - yup, sorry - didn't recognise you otherwise I'd have offered to chuck the bike in the back of the van and take you home! The missus setup a dog walking business earlier this year hence the van - hope you didn't get a facefull of soot when we passed!

I don’t think so. I have a couple which aren’t worn any more, in reasonable condition: size L at a guess.
