Must admit I'm a bit puzzled. Been out tonight and there were road closed signs for this out on the B4194 to the north west of Bewdley out towards Button Oak, which road has never been on the route and according to the website still isn't. It doesn't even join one of the planned road closures. :confused

Yep C2 here (one of the fat lads at the back lol)
Bit worried the broom wagon is set to follow at 19 kmh ten mins after the last wave!
Did the route in two halves last week and the first half is a lot harder than the second.
Is anyone else being dropped off by partners on the day? How far in do you think you will be able to drive? The road behind Centenary Square could be a convenient place to unload and get ready.
I am in the same wave as you, and also worried about the broom wagon! Not done 100 miles before, only done 63 miles once, and will be doing that distance again at the weekend. Hoping its sufficient to be able to do the full distance in the time required. However the climb at the King of the Mountains looks concerning.Bit worried the broom wagon is set to follow at 19 kmh ten mins after the last wave!

I am staying in Birmingham on the Saturday and Sunday night. The £160 for a room in a Travelodge is partly offset by the £11 return rail fare from London!
Wife is grumpy as she was planning to come up with our daughter and watch and support, however is now taking daughter to a swimming gala in Bognor on the race day instead. However last year she meant to support me on the Palace to Palace, however got to Windsor after I did!

I am sure I have registered for this but not received anything in the post or email, should I be worried?
If your name is not on this list then yes;https://www.velobirmingham.com/wp-content/uploads/...
I'm on an 8.10 start and worried about getting timed out.
That being said, I rode some of the middle of the route up to and including the KOM section up Clent (Which was conveniently closed for roadworks which was a nice surprise) and it *wasn't too bad*, it's quite gradual rather than being killer-steep.

Ohhh thats slightly cheered me up as I am very worried about that section. Had virtually resigned myself to only doing 85 miles. With a starting time of 8.35 I am even more worried about getting timed out my last ride at the weekend was 74 miles and averaged just under 19kmh https://www.sports-tracker.com/workout/christopher...That being said, I rode some of the middle of the route up to and including the KOM section up Clent (Which was conveniently closed for roadworks which was a nice surprise) and it *wasn't too bad*, it's quite gradual rather than being killer-steep.
Fairly sure they didn't advertise how long one would have to do it in when I signed up, also dont think the route was as hilly!
