Anyone recommend a Cycle sat nav - one that has tracks, or more for off road than on road? Are there any good Android phone app ones instead?

I was looking at Garmin 820, but there must be some other cheaper options?

OsmAnd on Android for me. Build routes on RideWithGPS, export route onto your phone. I use a QuadLock phone mount. All works very well for my needs.

Sorry to thread jump but any for Apple apps?
Again more for off road stuff would be cool.

Thanks, gave it a quick go and seems good. Just need to get a handlebar mount for the phone because cant see a thing in the holder I have.

Need to see if it has "English voices" too. Seems to be available for IOS too smile

For off road I just use OS maps on my iPhone. I don't get turn by turn, but I think that would annoy me anyway.

Trailforks is pretty good, helped me find a good area to play around in when I moved house a couple of years ago.

ETA - Maverick too, bit less intuitive, but you can load gpx files, best results for me are when using gpsies to create the gpx.
