How to Fix : Brake Hood Slipping

Hi

Unfortunately I had a small accident on my bike, resulting in me wrenching round the brake lever.

Now the rubber hood will not stay in place.

Is there a technique to get this to stay?

I have tried to line up the hood so that the rubber grips are seated in the indents - not sure of the terminology!

Have I bent the leaver - thus the problems? It looks ok!

It looks like you just need to push it back down the lever so the hood will locate properly - look at the other lever .

More of an issue is that the bars are rotated way too far forward. Get the tops of the levers horizontal - as mentioned in a previous post:
