Just bought a Sticky Pod:

I want to clean up the lines of my bike (in readiness for getting a new bike sometime soon) and really hate having a saddle bag under my saddle and a pump fixed to my frame (albeit under my bottle cage) so hopefully, i'll be able to get everything in this and then put it in my jersey.
"Eliminates ugly seat bags and their shorts destroying velcro straps:

Does this actually happen? Velcro is around the seat post or underneath the saddle. confused
Been using the same Specialized seatbag that I've owned since the 90's, never had issues with it damaging my shorts.

Now if you want an ugly solution for carrying spares, look no further than this:

They are great, and bonus of alerting you if someone touches your bike via your phone.

Fair weather daylight only rider, but I've decided to use a rear light as the visibility in country lanes is not good.

Bought this - I had no idea that modern LEDs are so bright!

I've had them since their release. The "flash faster is the icon senses a bump/headlight etc" function doesn't seem suited to a commute on BIrmingham roads - they seems to flash madly most of the time!

That looks pretty good actually. At the moment I'm using an old 'trainer sock' stuffed with my pump, tools, patches and CO2 canisters, and shoving that in a jersey pocket. But that's more designed to keep all the kit in one place than anything else. I still keep a saddle bag on each bike, for spares that are specific to each bike.

Note made though, as my birthday is coming up...

Received last night. The small is not quite big enough. I can get my phone, money, keys, puncture repair kit, 2 tyre levers, multi tool and one inner tube in it. Just.

It has got rid of the saddle bag though. smile

With the nights drawing in I've beefed up my lighting with a Knog Blinder R70. Hoping it's as eye-searingly bright as some others I've seen lately.

Pan Charge saddle for my black LR. They seem to fit my ass well, contemplating getting a couple of spares in case they go and change the design/discontinue them

A 1m length of 6mm aluminium tube to make a compressionless outer for my front brake. Could prove interesting...

I've just bought my first roadbike since I was a kid, nearly 40 years ago. I bought a mountain bike a few months ago and have enjotpyed riding the muddy trails nearby, but fancied a go at roads as a way to lose weight.

I've zero aspirations to become anything other than someone who is building / maintaining fitness at it.

Well pleased with the bike. A Nero Pavé with full 105 mech (is that the right description?)

This was taken in Southport after a 23 mile ride there, followed by a slightly different, but equally long route home. Quite pleased at having covered 85 miles since picking it up on Monday. If the weather wasn't so bloody awful it'd be more!

Great looking machine

I have the truly excellent Topeak Ninja P pump inside my seatpost. A spare tube in the downtube. Two Specialized Barkeeper end plugs that have integrated tyre levers. In my pocket I have a 4mm Allen key. It's a great lightweight setup, with no bag on the bike and no bulges in my pockets.

I’ve got the Elemnt and it’s bloody brilliant yes

Connects faultlessly to Strava which in turn sends straight to relive thumbup

Yeah, I'm really happy with it. Superbly simple user interface and app.

They're fantastic.
I'm going to measure my seat post this weekend and get a pump ordered as well as the Ritchey Barkeeper Tyre levers. Excellent ideas. Cheers for that.
