SRAM 1150 chain and Sun Race 11-34 cassette for the gravel bike - managed 5000km on/off road with the last one which counts as fair value in my book.
Same chain and 11-28 SunRace for MrsPBs road bike too.
New FS mtb is proving suitably encouraging, so flat pedals in place of SPDs for certain trails. This may not end well

This week, I shall be mostly in the dog-house for buying:

It's a solid old lump for keeping in the garage for winter training. It is effectively a spin bike, as far as I can see, and it has a PowerTap, and will record and display cadence, speed and heart rate as well. The heart rate strap is buggered, so hopefully my Garmin on will be picked up instead. It also records GPS, which is less handy. The resistance is a manual adjustment, but can be done whilst cycling.
I don't have power to the garage, so this seemed like quite a good solution. At £270 it is also a lot cheaper than I've been seeing cheap road bikes to go into the turbo-trainer, which would not give me power measurement either.
It needs a good clean up, and I'd like to work out a way to have forearm rests like on a TT bike, but I'll figure something out. SPD-SL pedals to go on when cleaning it up and adjusting to match the road bike as closely as possible.

Just got these for £99 from Cycle Surgery. Been wanting these for ages, but cheapest I've seen in the sales is £140+ at several places so snapped these up ASAP when I saw them. Read some decent reviews on RoadCC and Bike Radar so hopefully they are good!
Good looking pair of shoes, but reading a review is pretty pointless as if they don't fit, I'd be sending them straight back I have a rather tired looking pair of Shimano Road shoes. I have tried Sidis and Fiziks and neither worked for me, so they were sent back. Shame really as I really liked both
Went for a fit today, suffice to say I’m a bit lighter in the wallet area 
Turns out I’d pretty much nailed my position, with only a flipping of the stem required to cover all 3 bar positions and adding 1/2 inch to saddle height.
On the flip side, I did need some arch support, which in turn lead to some new shoes, which led to ....

And a Specialized Power arc saddle
Now for the highlight of the day, the guy doing my fit used to work for the Porsche 919 team and coach Mark Webber!

I felt a bit like Bambi to start with as the free range of float feels a bit odd but being able to dial in exactly as much close as you want without it being spring resister is great.
They cleat system gives a low stack height, good sized platform and the new walkable cleats are now much longer lasting that the first iteration.

I'm hoping a new bottom bracket and chain will sort my commuter creaks. The Alfine Hub may need a service too, but hopefully I can get away without the chain and sprocket rings. They don't look worn. I'll have a check to see how the chain sits on them.

I thought I would get some cheap bibshorts to wear under my baggies when MTBing, but got suckered in with the "bargains" from Planet X, so got a few extra bit coming too, bike hangers/socks etc.
Previous post has reminded me that I need to get a new BB for my Orange - previous Shimano one, bough in an emergency the day before a trip, hasn't lasted well, so will get a Hope one this time.

I'm ready for some new BIBs for next summer. My current commuting ones are about done after 3 hard summers of use.
Last time I got these for £13 a pair, and can't really argue with £20 a pair this time. I might keep an eye on them though, as they might drop a bit more over the winter...
