CDC stuff is really nice. I've got a few of their jerseys although I was a good few kilos lighter than I am now when I ordered them so need to slim down a bit more before summer if I'm going to fit back in to them!

My only grumble is that their shipping can be really slow so don't expect to receive anything just yet.
Actually, their shipping is now great. Now they have their post-Brexit st together, they charge a flat €25 for UK Delivery (including all taxes/duties) and it usually arrives within 48hrs.
Good to hear that they've upped their game a bit in that area. The shipping used to be a bit cheaper than €25 but not a lot and stuff took well over a week to arrive.
They will be shipping to the Philippines for me, but still the same 25 quid. I made multiple orders though to slip under our import tax allowance here, would of cost me a lot more than the shipping in taxes, if I had bundled all together.

I basically neglect my road bike and mountain bike by rarely cleaning them so can anyone help me with what I could buy to turn this around?

I did have some muc off stuff, both the drivechain cleaner and the pink cleaning liquid.

My chain looks really dry and I can never get it clean, always just feels sticky and horrible. On the turbo trainer I can hear it's not quite right.

Any advice on what type of things I can buy as I'd like to get a bit better?
I'd personally just buy a new chain.

If that isn't an option, I would use a pressure washer to blast all of the st out of it. Just make sure you're able to dry it right away with a hairdryer or similar and then oil it.

I pressure wash my bikes all the time without issue. I believe it is just very important to have a good blowing gadget to get them dry, and all of nooks and crannies not have water sat in them for a long period.

When you do get it clean/replaced, look after it though mate. Much easier to do that than waste money on on other parts of the drivetrain due to the chain.

More clothing from a brand suggested earlier and a small pump as my current steed really needs nothing.

This pump I saw on a Youtube channel that was at the Taiwan bike show last week. I've wanted a fumpa pump for a while so hoping this is the next best thing.

Edited to add this one too.. I really am stopping now!

It arrived SUPER FAST to the Philippines!

Quality seems really nice upon first inspection.

Had to remove my tyres to get the serial numbers for a warranty replacement… once off I discovered all the sealant had dried up, so won’t be buying that again.
Ordered some of this stuff - new formula, and rave reviews

Inspected my ghettocore inserts after removal (here’s a before photo when they were fitted):

…they have held up incredibly well and clearly have taken some hits that would have dinged the rim. Impressive. The only thing is that it makes it so difficult to remove the tyre… I simply can’t do it, even with a trash can, bead bro, standing on it, you name it…it’s multiple times worse than a cushcore and getting that initial bead break is nigh on impossible, so I have to go to the lbs and get them to use a park tool pinch tool thing to break it, and even then you have to know how to do it. Would have zero chance of doing it at the bike park or on a trail…but no way I’m running without inserts again, so am on the hunt for a different off the shelf model.

Rimpact, no better option IMO and run them in 3 wheelsets. Bang for buck (£50) they're incredible and still make it possible to get tyres on and off with relative ease. No need to buy any fancy version of them, the original ones they do are more than up to the job. Come with valves too!

Thanks, I was leaning towards them, although the pro version rather than the original.

Where did you buy the pump from?

Obvs get the pros if you want to spend the money but from my experience the OG ones are more than good enough.

The pros won't make it any harder to get the tyre on and off and will undoubtedly give more protection and peace of mind so go for it.

There is a knack to getting them in and the tyres on but once you've done a couple you'll get what you need to do and it becomes a piece of piss.

That cassette spanner is brilliant. I can't imagine going back to a chain whip ever. The Quick Link pliers? I don't find them quite so great, personally. I've got that Lock Ring socket too, but don't use it much as I bought a more solidly made one with a guide pin on the end that slides inside the hollow axle.

Making the most of my wiggle increased discount, which ended today.... didn't think I could push it to carbon wheels, if I wish to keep my dangly bits.
My bike toolbox is overflowing, so I *had* to buy another one, with drawers.... wink
(ETA: and some bits to finish off my restomod Raleigh Record Sprint.)

New little pump I saw from a YouTube channel at the Taiwan bike show a week or so ago. Haven’t tested yet as currently sat on charge.

Couple more pieces from this brand, quality is really nice from what I can tell so far.

Finally got round to getting some new wheels for my Ribble Endurance SL (ZIPP 303s).

Just need to get my head around the tubeless thing (especially as these are hookless rims) Already got some Schwalbe Pro One TLE tyres to go with them, and probably gonna get the LBS to set it up as I know I'll get it wrong.

Nice wheels. I have 2 sets for my gravel bike - road ones with Pirelli’s and gravel ones with continentals.

Have been thinking about getting a second set of wheels for my gravel bike, did you also buy a second rear cassette?

I have set on my gravel/winter bike which I've been riding since last September, so far so good. They feel pretty robust.

Tubeless set up is easy, especially with hookless. If new tyres, mount them with tubes and leave inflated for a few days ... they're then easier to mount tubeless.
